Tommaso Chiti – Presentation on Carbon Farming in Brussels

In Brussels, Tommaso Chiti highlighted the potential of carbon farming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen climate resilience. This method involves the use of sustainable practices such as reforestation and agroforestry to capture and store CO₂.
Covering 40% of Europe, forests are a key factor in the success of these strategies. But to really make the most of carbon farming, we need scientists, land managers and policymakers to work together, along with structured support to ensure sustainability and biodiversity.
